Neuation iRupt Jr Compact Tissue & Cell Homogenizer
Neuation iRupt Jr
Compact Tissue & Cell Homogenizer
Rapid bead-based disruption of up to three 2 ml samples
The Neuation iRupt Jr is a compact bead-beating homogenizer designed for the efficient disruption, grinding and homogenisation of biological samples. Despite its small benchtop footprint, its powerful motor delivers controlled agitation at speeds from 2,800 to 4,000 RPM.
Able to process up to three 2 ml screw-cap tubes simultaneously, the iRupt Jr is particularly well suited to laboratories handling smaller sample batches. Adjustable run times and programmable pulse intervals help achieve effective homogenisation while limiting unnecessary heat generation.
Suitable for bacterial and yeast cells, plant material, animal tissue, mammalian cells, seeds, roots and small bone samples.
Key Features
- Processes up to three 2 ml samples simultaneously
- Adjustable agitation speed from 2,800 to 4,000 RPM
- Powerful motor for processing demanding biological samples
- Adjustable run time from 3 to 180 seconds
- Pulse-mode on/off intervals adjustable from 3 to 99 seconds
- Cyclic operation helps reduce sample heating during processing
- Integrated safety lid lock automatically stops operation if the lid is opened
- Large digital display with straightforward controls
- Last-run memory helps simplify repeat protocols
- Compact and lightweight construction for crowded benches and cold-room use
Typical Applications
| Bacterial cell disruption | Yeast-cell homogenisation |
| Plant leaves, seeds and roots | Animal and mammalian tissue |
| Small bone samples | Preparation for molecular extraction workflows |
Integrated Safety
The integrated lid-safety interlock detects if the lid is opened during a processing cycle and automatically brings the mechanism to a stop. Screw-cap tubes help contain samples during high-speed bead beating.
