The iShak TS4 NXT combines controlled incubation and orbital shaking in a single compact instrument. Designed to accommodate up to four standard skirted microplates, it delivers uniform heating and consistent 3 mm orbital mixing across every plate position.

The microprocessor-controlled temperature system provides an operating range from ambient temperature +3°C to 70°C, while the brushless DC motor delivers shaking speeds from 200 to 1,200 RPM. Programmable pulse operation and an extended timer provide excellent flexibility for molecular biology, immunoassay and life-science workflows.

Uniform Temperature Control

The integrated heating system provides uniform incubation across the microplate positions. Both temperature accuracy and stability are specified at ±0.5°C, helping maintain consistent conditions during temperature-sensitive assays and reactions.

The display shows the selected temperature and actual measured temperature, allowing the operator to monitor the heating process before and during the shaking programme.

Consistent Mixing Across Every Well

The controlled 3 mm orbital movement promotes efficient circulation within microplate wells while maintaining stable plate retention. Speed can be adjusted between 200 and 1,200 RPM to suit different plate formats, sample volumes and experimental protocols.

Gradual and accurately controlled motion helps provide consistent mixing across all four plates, supporting improved repeatability between wells and sample batches.

Programmable Pulse Operation

Pulse mode uses a run-pause-run sequence with alternating clockwise and counter-clockwise movement. This can help resuspend settled material, disrupt persistent circulation patterns and improve mixing uniformity.
