The iStir Uno+ combines the capacity and performance of a conventional laboratory magnetic stirrer with an exceptionally slim, space-saving design.

Capable of stirring volumes of up to 10 litres, this single-position instrument is powered by a quiet and maintenance-free brushless DC motor. Its digitally controlled speed range of 200 to 2,200 RPM makes it suitable for everything from gentle solution preparation to rapid mixing and dissolution.

Advanced functions include gradual speed acceleration, programmable pulse mixing, a timer of up to 999 minutes and last-run memory. Together, these features provide reliable, repeatable operation for busy research, clinical, pharmaceutical and industrial laboratories.

The brushless DC motor delivers smooth, quiet and dependable stirring without the maintenance requirements associated with conventional brushed motors. It is designed to provide consistent performance during routine use and throughout extended mixing procedures.

A speed range extending to 2,200 RPM provides the flexibility required for rapid dissolution, reagent preparation and a wide variety of general laboratory mixing applications.

Software-controlled gradual acceleration allows the stirring speed to build smoothly, helping prevent splashing and reducing the risk of stir-bar decoupling at start-up.

Pulse mode alternates between clockwise and anticlockwise rotation to improve circulation through the vessel. This can produce more complete mixing than continuous single-direction operation, particularly when dissolving materials or preparing larger solution volumes.

The last-run memory function recalls previously used settings, helping operators reproduce routine procedures without re-entering the parameters before every run.
