AUC-4040-TRF Transmitted & Reflected LED Metallurgical Microscope
A dual-illumination inspection system for opaque samples and translucent materials, with reflected and transmitted LED lighting.
The AUC-4040-TRF combines reflected bright-field and dark-field inspection with transmitted LED illumination. It is designed for metallurgical analysis, electronic components, wafers, flat-panel displays and samples that benefit from examination using both surface-reflected and transmitted light.
Typical applications
Metallurgical and industrial inspection, wafer and FPD analysis, electronic components, small parts, and translucent samples requiring transmitted-light viewing.

- Infinity colour-corrected optical system with 50×–500× total magnification.
- Reflected and transmitted illumination can be controlled independently or used together.
- Reflected LED bright-field and dark-field illuminator with adjustable aperture and field diaphragms.
- 5 W cool-colour transmitted LED illumination with NA 0.5 condenser.
- Tilting trinocular head, long-working-distance metallurgical objectives, quintuple nosepiece and 6-inch mechanical stage.
