Bright, controllable and mercury-free
The CoolLED pE-300white is a compact three-channel LED illumination system covering popular fluorescence excitation bands from DAPI through to Cy5. Each channel can be selected and controlled independently, making the system particularly suitable for multi-stained samples and multi-band fluorescence filter sets.
Flexible White-Light Fluorescence Illumination
Designed for hospital laboratories, clinical screening, teaching and research microscopy, the pE-300white provides clean, stable and repeatable illumination without the warm-up periods, cool-down restrictions and bulb replacements associated with mercury and metal-halide systems.
Its three independently controlled LED wavebands support fluorophores including DAPI, CFP, Aqua, FITC, YFP, TRITC, Texas Red, mCherry and Cy5. Fluorophores can be viewed individually or in combination, helping simplify multi-colour screening and reducing unnecessary filter-cube changes.

Independent Multi-Channel Control
The pE-300white allows the three LED wavebands to be selected, deselected and adjusted independently. This makes it possible to balance the excitation of each fluorophore within a multi-stained sample and use only the minimum irradiance required to produce a clear image.
Reducing unnecessary sample exposure can help minimise photobleaching and phototoxicity. The system can also be used with appropriate multi-band filter sets to view several fluorophores without repeatedly changing filter cubes.
