Inverted Biological Phase Contrast Microscope

Inverted biological microscope equipped with long-working-distance plan phase contrast objectives. It is designed for observing living cells, tissue cultures and other biological specimens held in culture vessels, chambers and Petri dishes.

Its regulated 5 W LED illumination provides bright, cool and energy-efficient operation. An integrated photo port allows a compatible microscope camera to be added for image capture, documentation and measurement.

The long-working-distance phase contrast objectives are corrected for observation through chamber bases up to 1.2 mm thick.

Key features

  • Inverted biological microscope
  • Brightfield and phase contrast observation
  • Binocular viewing head with integrated photo port
  • Widefield 10× eyepieces with a 22 mm field of view
  • Quintuple objective nosepiece
  • Coarse and fine focusing controls
  • Plain 215 × 250 mm stage
  • Long-working-distance condenser
  • Condenser numerical aperture of 0.30
  • Condenser working distance of 72 mm
  • Phase slider for 4×, 10×, 20× and 40× objectives
  • Phase-centering telescope
  • Green interference filter
  • Regulated 5 W LED illumination
  • Ergonomically positioned controls
  • Automatic ECO illumination control

ECO illumination control

The ECO system automatically switches off the illumination when the microscope is not being used. When an operator approaches the microscope, the illumination switches back on automatically.

This helps reduce unnecessary energy consumption while extending the working life of the illumination system.
