The iStir OH Elite Series is designed for demanding laboratory, pilot-scale and industrial mixing applications involving larger volumes and high-viscosity materials. Three models provide capacities from 50 to 100 litres and torque ratings from 50 to 100 Ncm.
A powerful brushless DC motor, microprocessor control and intelligent load compensation provide dependable stirring as sample viscosity changes. Digital speed and timer control, reversible rotation and comprehensive safety protection make the Elite Series suitable for extended and challenging mixing processes.

Intelligent Control Under Changing Loads
Smart Control monitors the load applied to the motor and adjusts the drive to help maintain effective stirring as the viscosity of the sample changes. This is valuable during dissolving, polymerisation and formulation processes where the mixture may become progressively thicker.
The large digital display provides clear visibility of the selected speed, remaining time and operating functions, helping the operator monitor long or critical processes.
Reversible Mixing Direction
Clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation allows the direction of liquid flow to be changed during operation. Direction reversal can help redistribute settled material, disrupt persistent flow patterns and improve mixing uniformity throughout larger vessels.
Comprehensive Safety Protection
Built-in overload, overcurrent and overtemperature protection helps safeguard the motor and electronics during demanding operation. If excessive loading or an unsafe operating condition is detected, the protection system intervenes to prevent damage.

Configuration Required
The selected Elite stirrer head requires the following components to create a complete operating system:
- Stand: heavy-duty H-stand recommended for larger loads
- Boss-head clamp: selected to suit the chosen stand
- Chuck: keyed, keyless or collet chuck
- Impeller: selected according to viscosity, vessel and required flow pattern
Important ordering information
The stand, boss-head clamp, chuck and impeller are not included with the stirrer head and must be selected and ordered separately.
