PHOTONIC F3000 LED Light Source

The PHOTONIC F3000 is a high-performance fibre-optic LED light source developed specifically for routine and high-end microscopy applications. Its high-output LED illumination provides a compact and efficient alternative to conventional halogen illumination.

The F3000 produces approximately 640 lumens through an 8mm × 1000mm fibre and has a colour temperature of approximately 5800K. The colour temperature can be adjusted towards the appearance of halogen illumination using a suitable filter.

Brightness is continuously adjustable and the unit incorporates an electronic shutter function together with configurable strobe parameters. An LCD graphics display provides access to operating status and menu functions.

The robust metallic housing provides a stable platform for use with gooseneck light guides and can also be positioned vertically or stacked. A quiet axial fan provides cooling during operation.
