SCHOTT offers a range of optical accessories that allow EasyLED ring-light illumination to be adapted to different specimens and inspection requirements.

Protection Glass – P/N 400.560

Protective optical window for compatible SCHOTT EasyLED and VisiLED ring lights.

A useful option where the illumination head may be exposed to dust, contamination or other environmental conditions during laboratory or industrial inspection.

Diffuser – P/N 400.570

The SCHOTT diffuser softens the direct LED illumination from a compatible ring light.

Diffuse illumination can help reduce harsh reflections and individual LED reflections when examining shiny, uneven or reflective surfaces.

Tubular Diffuser – P/N 400.590

The SCHOTT tubular diffuser screws into the inner thread of compatible EasyLED and VisiLED ring lights.

Light from the ring-light LEDs is directed from the outside onto the tube, creating highly diffuse illumination from within. This allows the specimen to be illuminated non-directionally and can significantly reduce interfering reflections on shiny and non-transparent surfaces.

An additional paper diffuser is included and can be fitted inside the tube to further increase the diffusion effect.

Polariser Set – P/N 400.550

The SCHOTT polarisation filter set helps control glare and unwanted reflections when inspecting reflective specimens.

Cross-polarised illumination can be particularly useful when viewing metallic components, plastics, polished surfaces and other samples where surface reflection can obscure fine detail.

Compatible with the EasyLED Ring Light, EasyLED Ring Light PLUS and selected SCHOTT VisiLED ring lights.

SCHOTT Tubular Diffuser Comparison
