More Than a Conventional Ring Light
The SCHOTT EasyLED Ring Light PLUS 600.300 combines homogeneous LED ring illumination with eight controllable illumination segments.
The integrated controls allow different segment patterns to be selected and rotated around the specimen, changing the direction of illumination without physically repositioning the microscope or light source.
This makes the Ring Light PLUS particularly useful for revealing scratches, edges, surface relief and other directional features that may be difficult to see under conventional full-ring illumination.

Segmentable Illumination
Conventional ring illumination provides light evenly from all directions. This is excellent for general observation but can flatten surface relief and reduce the visibility of some structures.
The EasyLED Ring Light PLUS divides the illumination into eight segments. Different segment patterns can be selected to introduce directional illumination and stronger shadows.
The selected illumination pattern can also be rotated around the specimen using the integrated control, allowing features to be viewed under several lighting directions without touching the sample.
