AUC-209-I Trinocular Inverted Biological LED Microscope

The AUC-209-I is an infinity-corrected inverted biological microscope designed for observing cultured living cells, microorganisms, bacteria and tissue samples in culture vessels. Its inverted arrangement provides convenient access to specimens held in flasks, dishes and suitable culture containers, making it well suited to medical, university, research and industrial laboratories.

The confirmed standard configuration provides brightfield observation at 100× and 400× total magnification, together with phase-contrast observation at 200×. A trinocular viewing head and built-in 0.65× C-mount adapter allow a compatible digital camera to be connected for live display, image capture, video recording and measurement when used with appropriate camera software.

Brightfield and phase-contrast observation

Phase contrast improves the visibility of transparent, low-contrast biological specimens without requiring routine staining. The supplied 20× phase-contrast objective and matching annular plate are particularly valuable for observing living cells and microorganisms within culture media.

The microscope is also supplied with 10× and 40× plan brightfield objectives. Optional 10× and 40× phase-contrast objectives are available for laboratories requiring additional phase-contrast magnifications.

Trinocular imaging capability

The 45° inclined trinocular viewing head provides an interpupillary adjustment range of 48–75mm and a fixed light distribution of 70% to the eyepieces and 30% to the trinocular camera port. This allows simultaneous visual observation and camera imaging.

Mechanical stage and specimen support

The three-layer mechanical stage measures 180 × 155mm and provides a 75 × 40mm movement range with 0.1mm graduations. The supplied glass holder has an outer diameter of 110mm and an inner diameter of 30mm. Additional stage and holder options are available for different culture vessels and specimen formats.
