Colour-corrected infinite optics with high-quality Infinity Plan objectives
The AUC-238 Series combines a colour-corrected infinite optical system, Infinity Plan objectives and precision mechanical controls within a robust and practical laboratory microscope platform.
Available with either a binocular or trinocular viewing head, the series is designed for routine biological microscopy, histology, pathology, bacteriology, immunology, pharmaceutical applications, medical laboratories, research institutes and higher education.
Both configurations include high-eyepoint WF10X/20 mm widefield eyepieces, a complete set of 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X Oil Infinity Plan objectives, a precision mechanical stage and bright 3 W LED illumination.

Colour-corrected infinite optics provide clear, accurately rendered images and support a flexible optical platform.
Infinity Plan objectives
Plan-corrected objectives provide a flat, well-corrected image from the centre towards the edge of the field of view.
Comfortable observation
High-eyepoint WF10X/20 mm eyepieces and a 30° inclined viewing head support comfortable routine observation.
Precision focusing
Coaxial coarse and fine focusing controls provide smooth, precise adjustment throughout the focusing range.
Mechanical stage
The 145 × 140 mm mechanical stage provides a 76 × 52 mm travel range, two slide holders and a 0.1 mm scale.
LED illumination
Bright and efficient 3 W LED transmitted illumination provides consistent lighting for routine microscopy.
Optical performance
The AUC-238 Series is supplied with four Infinity Plan objectives covering routine low-power scanning through to high-resolution oil-immersion observation.

Precision focusing and specimen control
The coaxial coarse and fine focusing mechanism provides a coarse focusing travel range of 25 mm and fine adjustment divisions of 2 µm. This allows controlled focusing at both low and high magnifications.
The 145 × 140 mm mechanical stage has a movement range of 76 × 52 mm, a 0.1 mm scale and two slide holders for secure and repeatable specimen positioning.
LED illumination
A built-in 3 W LED transmitted-light system provides bright and consistent specimen illumination. The universal 100–240 V power supply supports use across a wide range of laboratory and educational environments.
An integrated cable-winding device on the rear of the microscope helps keep the power cable organised during storage and transportation.

The AUC-238 Series is supplied with a three-year Auckland Scientific warranty, providing additional reassurance and long-term support for your microscope investment.
The extended warranty is subject to the microscope receiving its required annual preventative service from Auckland Scientific and remains subject to the applicable warranty terms and conditions.
