Designed for Teaching, Clinical Examination and Laboratory Research
The AUC-246 Series comprises high-quality biological microscopes designed for teaching, clinical diagnosis and laboratory research. Its NIS infinity optical system, plan achromatic objectives and wide-field eyepieces provide clear, reliable images with good contrast and edge-to-edge clarity.
An intelligent light-management system automatically remembers the illumination intensity used with each objective. When the coded nosepiece is rotated, the microscope recalls the corresponding brightness setting, helping improve efficiency and reduce repeated adjustment.
The compact microscope body incorporates low-position controls, a rackless stage, an integrated carrying handle, rear cable storage and a safer external DC 5V power supply. These features make the microscope particularly suitable for classrooms, teaching laboratories and busy clinical environments.
Intelligent Microscope Control
Coded Objective Recognition and Illumination Memory
The coded quadruple nosepiece works with the illumination-management system to remember and restore the light intensity used with each objective. This supports faster objective changes, consistent illumination and more comfortable routine observation.
Coded Nosepiece
Identifies the objective position currently in use.
Automatic Light Recall
Remembers and restores the illumination intensity for each objective.
LCD Status Display
Displays magnification, brightness, colour temperature and standby status.
Adjustable LED Colour Temperature
The AUC-246 Series incorporates adjustable LED colour temperature, allowing the illumination appearance to be adapted to the specimen and observation requirements.
The system is designed to maintain comfortable illumination characteristics when brightness is adjusted. The selected colour temperature is shown on the microscope’s LCD display.

The AUC-246B provides binocular observation. The AUC-246T incorporates a trinocular imaging port for use with a compatible camera and optional C-mount adapter.

Optional 8.3MP Digital Viewing Head
An optional Seidentopf binocular head with an integrated 8.3MP digital camera is available. The camera supports Wi-Fi, USB and HDMI output while maintaining the compact dimensions of the standard binocular head.
This configuration can support digital teaching, image sharing and the development of an interactive microscope classroom.
