AUC-291 Series Trinocular Inverted Biological Microscopes

Advanced long-working-distance microscopy for cultured cells, tissues and live-cell observation

The AUC-291 Series combines an infinity colour-corrected optical system, ergonomic trinocular viewing and long-working-distance optics for the observation of living cells, microorganisms and tissue cultures. Choose the AUC-291-I for transmitted-light brightfield and positive phase contrast, or the AUC-291F-I for transmitted-light observation plus reflected LED fluorescence.

Please select your required model: prices are set separately for each Shopify variant. Delivery, installation and training are quoted separately where required.

AUC-291-I

Transmitted brightfield and positive phase contrast

  • 4×, 10×, 20× and 40× infinity LWD plan achromatic positive phase-contrast objectives
  • Transmitted biological frame with adjustable 5W LED illumination
  • Fixed stage with Petri-dish holder, glass plate and Φ25mm metal plate
  • Green filter and centring telescope

AUC-291F-I

Transmitted light, positive phase contrast and reflected LED fluorescence

  • 4× and 10× infinity LWD plan fluorescence objectives
  • 20× and 40× infinity LWD plan semi-apochromatic positive phase-contrast fluorescence objectives
  • Four-channel LED fluorescence illuminator with B1 and G1 modules
  • Attachable mechanical stage, extension stage and expanded specimen-holder set

Key features

  • Infinity colour-corrected optical system for clear, flat and well-corrected images.
  • PL10×/22mm high-eyepoint eyepieces provide a wide, comfortable field of view.
  • Ergonomic trinocular head, inclined 45°, rotatable through 360° and adjustable for 50–76mm interpupillary distance.
  • Inward-facing quintuple nosepiece accommodates the four supplied objectives and leaves one position available.
  • 72mm condenser working distance supports observation through culture vessels.
  • Intelligent ECO illumination uses an infrared sensor to control the light when the microscope is unattended.
  • Coaxial coarse and fine focus with 0.002mm fine division.
  • Trinocular imaging capability; compatible C-mount adapters and cameras are available separately.

AUC-291F-I fluorescence system

The four-channel LED fluorescence illuminator includes 385nm, 470nm and 560nm LED light sources and is supplied with the following two filter modules:

  • B1 blue-excitation module: EX 480/30 (Φ25mm), BS 505 (25.7 × 36 × 1mm), EM 535/40 (Φ25mm), for a 470nm centre-wavelength LED.
  • G1 green-excitation module: EX 560/40 (Φ25mm), BS 595 (25.7 × 36 × 1mm), EM 635/60, for a 560nm centre-wavelength LED.

An eye-protection plate is included. The system offers long LED life, low heat output and avoids the warm-up and lamp-replacement demands associated with traditional fluorescence illumination.
