The AUC-294 Series is an advanced range of trinocular inverted biological microscopes for cultured cells, tissues and live specimens. Its NIS60 infinity optical system, 60mm parfocal distance, long-working-distance objectives, large mechanical stage and precise 0.001mm fine focus support demanding research and laboratory workflows.

Select conventional or coded phase contrast, or choose a semi-apochromatic LED fluorescence configuration with a standard or coded nosepiece.

Phase-contrast configurations

AUC-294A-I and AUC-294B-I are supplied for brightfield and phase-contrast observation.

 The coded AUC-294B-I adds objective-position recognition through its coded quintuple nosepiece as well as automatic objective-specific illumination adjustment and a front LCD showing magnification, light intensity, illumination source and operating status.

The adjustable 10×/20×/40× phase-annulus plate and centring telescope are supplied as standard.

LED fluorescence configurations

AUC-294AF-I and AUC-294BF-I combine transmitted S-LED illumination with reflected LED fluorescence. Up to three LED light sources and B, G and U fluorescence filter blocks can be configured. The AUC-294BF-I adds a coded quintuple nosepiece, automatic objective-specific illumination adjustment and a front LCD showing magnification, light intensity, illumination source and operating status.

Stage and focusing

• 170 × 250mm stage with 110mm glass insert plate.
• Attachable mechanical stage with coaxial X-Y controls and 128 × 80mm movement.
• Universal holder for Terasaki plates, glass slides and 35/65mm Petri dishes.
• Coaxial coarse and fine focus with adjustable tension.
• Fine focus division: 0.001mm; fine stroke: 0.2mm per rotation.
• Standard vertical movement: 7mm upward and 1.5mm downward; up to 18.5mm without limitation.
