The AUC-634 Series comprises advanced infinity-corrected inverted metallurgical microscopes designed for inspecting large, heavy or uneven specimens.

The inverted optical configuration allows specimens to be placed directly onto the spacious mechanical stage and observed from below. Samples weighing up to 5 kg can be accommodated, making these microscopes suitable for metallography, metals and alloys, automotive components, machinery, electronics, wafers and integrated-circuit packaging.

Both variants feature adjustable-colour-temperature LED illumination, automatic objective brightness memory, a motorised aperture and an LCD status display.

Choose the AUC-634A-I for brightfield inspection or the AUC-634B-I when brightfield, darkfield and simple polarising observation are required.

A 1× C-mount adapter is included with both configurations for connecting a compatible microscope camera. The camera is available separately.

AUC-634A-I – Brightfield

The AUC-634A-I is designed for routine brightfield metallurgical examination.

It is supplied with a fixed 45° inclined binocular viewing head and a combination of plan achromatic and semi-apochromatic metallurgical objectives.

Simple polarising observation can be added as an optional upgrade by fitting the appropriate polariser and analyser.

Standard objective configuration

• 5× plan semi-apochromatic metallurgical objective
• 20× plan achromatic metallurgical objective
• 50× plan achromatic metallurgical objective
• 100× plan achromatic metallurgical objective
• Quintuple nosepiece

The standard magnifications are 50×, 200×, 500× and 1,000× when used with the supplied 10× eyepieces.

AUC-634B-I – Brightfield, Darkfield and Simple Polarising

The AUC-634B-I is designed for advanced materials inspection requiring brightfield, darkfield and simple polarising observation.

It is supplied with an adjustable 5°–35° inclined binocular viewing head, dedicated brightfield/darkfield objectives, a rotatable polariser, analyser and four filters.

Standard objective configuration

• 5× infinity brightfield/darkfield metallurgical objective
• 10× infinity brightfield/darkfield metallurgical objective
• 20× infinity brightfield/darkfield metallurgical objective
• 50× infinity brightfield/darkfield metallurgical objective

Automatic brightness memory

The microscope remembers the illumination intensity used with each objective. When the objective is changed, the corresponding brightness setting is automatically recalled.

This reduces repeated adjustment, helps maintain consistent illumination and can minimise visual fatigue during extended examination.
