DAEIL DVIM-G Advanced Pneumatic Vibration Isolator
DAEIL DVIM-G Advanced Pneumatic Vibration Isolator
The DVIM-G is DAEIL's high-performance pneumatic isolator for precision metrology, inspection equipment and machinery with moving payloads. Its dual-chamber damping arrangement is designed to combine low-frequency isolation with faster recovery after stage movement.
Advanced Damping System
- Dual chamber: separate air and damping chambers are linked through precision orifices to dissipate energy generated by moving payloads.
- Adjustable response: the damping response can be tuned to the application.
- Air-operated valve option: increases pneumatic response speed during dynamic events.
- External oil damper option: provides additional damping where rapid stage movement or high inertial forces are present.
- Precision levelling: optional ±0.05 mm repeatability.
Performance
| Isolation method | Pneumatic, dual-chamber damping |
| Natural frequency | 1.5–3.0 Hz |
| Isolation at 5 Hz | 80–90% |
| Isolation at 10 Hz | 90–99% |
| Model capacities | 500–6,000 kg maximum payload per isolator |
Ordering Information
Models range from DVIM-G-500 through DVIM-G-6000. Mount footprint, hole spacing and mounting-hole diameter increase with load capacity, so the isolator model should be selected from the actual machine weight distribution rather than total weight alone.
Typical Applications
- Precision metrology and inspection systems
- Semiconductor stages and wafer inspection equipment
- Large precision positioning systems
- Equipment with rapidly moving stages where settling time matters
