Digital Imaging Upgrades for Leica M-Series Binocular Stereo Microscopes
Auckland Scientific Digital Imaging Solutions
Digital Imaging Upgrades for Leica M-Series & MZ-Series Stereo Microscopes
Upgrade a compatible Leica binocular stereo microscope with high-resolution image capture, measurement, wireless sharing or a completely PC-free digital imaging workstation.
Important: This listing is for a digital camera upgrade system only. The Leica microscope shown in product imagery is not included. Auckland Scientific can supply suitable new microscopes separately.
Upgrade Your Existing Leica Stereo Microscope
These dedicated imaging upgrades allow selected Leica binocular stereo microscopes to be converted into powerful digital imaging systems without replacing the original binocular viewing head.
A model-specific optical beam splitter is fitted between the microscope body and viewing head. This allows the operator to continue observing through both eyepieces while simultaneously capturing or displaying a live digital image.
Three configurations are available: a computer-based measuring camera, a flexible Wi-Fi multi-output camera and a self-contained smart-camera system that does not require a computer.
Compatible Leica Stereo Microscopes
This digital imaging upgrade is suitable for the following current and legacy Leica binocular stereo microscopes:
Leica M-Series
Legacy Leica MZ-Series
Compatibility confirmation: Leica stereo microscopes can have different viewing-head and optical configurations. Please provide the complete model, serial number and photographs of the microscope and head connection before ordering. Auckland Scientific will confirm the correct optical interface.
