Image capture and measurement
The 1/2.8-inch Sony CMOS sensor captures still images at 3264 × 1836 pixels and outputs 1920 × 1080 live view. HDMI live video can reach 60 fps under optimal conditions. The camera uses 16-bit grayscale conversion and 36-bit colour rendering. In standalone mode, the mouse-controlled on-screen software captures JPG images and 1080p video to the SD card and provides measurement tools on live or captured images.
Connect to a compatible Windows computer for the ImageFocus Plus software workflow. Computer use offers expanded camera controls, image and video saving to the computer, measurement functions and additional analysis options.
Connections, fit and supplied accessories
HDMI and USB-2 interfaces, C-mount mounting, and an SD-card slot support flexible use. The VC.3036 package is supplied with a 0.37× C-mount objective, 16 GB SD card, USB mouse, USB cable, 30 mm and 30.5 mm stereo-microscope conversion rings, calibration slide and 12 V power supply. Confirm the selected HDS package contents if you require a particular accessory.
Euromex identifies this camera family for biological, metallurgical and stereo microscopes and says it suits its own microscopes and most Zeiss, Leica, Olympus and Nikon models with the appropriate adapter.
