Digital Variable-Speed Vortex Mixer

iSwix VT Digital Variable-Speed Vortex Mixer

Precise digital control of speed, time and programmable pulse mixing for single tubes and compatible multi-vessel attachments.

300–4,200 RPM Digital Speed & Time Display Programmable Pulse Mode Brushless DC Motor
Advanced Digital Sample Mixing

Precise control from gentle agitation to vigorous vortexing

The iSwix VT is a high-performance digital vortex mixer designed for laboratories that require accurate and repeatable control over mixing speed and duration.

Its variable speed range of 300–4,200 RPM accommodates everything from gentle low-speed shaking to rapid, vigorous vortexing. Microprocessor-based closed-loop control helps maintain the selected speed, even as the mixing load changes.

The digital display alternates between speed and time, allowing operating parameters to be monitored clearly. A timer of 1–999 minutes, continuous operation and programmable pulse mode support both routine and more demanding sample-preparation workflows.

A maintenance-free brushless DC motor, built-in counterbalance and robust housing provide quiet, stable and dependable operation throughout regular laboratory use.

Digital Speed and Time Control

Set, monitor and repeat your mixing conditions

Select the required speed in precise increments and set an operating time from 1–999 minutes. During continuous operation, the display alternates between the selected speed and remaining time for convenient monitoring.

Programmable Pulse Operation

Create repeatable intermittent mixing cycles

Pulse mode alternates between active mixing and rest periods. The user can programme the required ON and OFF durations, helping standardise repetitive procedures and providing more controlled treatment of sensitive samples.

Operating Modes

Select the right operation for each workflow

Touch Mode

Vortex action starts when a tube is pressed onto the cup attachment and stops when it is removed.

Continuous Mode

Runs automatically at the selected speed and time for hands-free operation with compatible attachments.

Pulse Mode

Provides intermittent run-stop-run mixing using default or user-programmed pulse intervals.

Standby Mode

Keeps the mixer inactive while parameters, attachments or samples are being changed.
