Nanoro G Super-Resolution Microscope
A fully automated optical microscope platform for nanoscale imaging, with a desktop display, SMAL imaging capability and optional mid-infrared customisation.
The Nanoro Generation builds on LIG Nanowise’s super-resolution optical microscopy platform. Its automated controls, scanning software and image stitching support the capture and review of nanoscale sample detail.
25 × 25 mm scan area, assembled through high-precision image stitching.
40 mm Z travel with 100 nm precision stated by the manufacturer.
CMOS imaging displayed on a 23.5-inch Ultra HD screen, with cold-white LED illumination.
Narrowband 440–460 nm illumination is stated to reveal features down to 60 nm, depending on the sample and imaging conditions.
Imaging and control
- SMAL microsphere optics support super-resolution imaging using optical illumination.
- Blue Mode uses narrowband blue illumination to improve contrast for suitable samples.
- The motorised iris aligns the microsphere and illumination beam; the iris is also described as an active contrast control across supported objective magnifications.
- The software and wireless joystick provide access to XYZ movement, iris control, illumination settings, scanning and stitching.
- The manufacturer describes targeted spectroscopy for regions around 1 µm² or smaller.
- Mid-infrared customisation is available by configuration.
