Meiji MT8000 Series Brightfield Metallurgical Microscope with Reflected and Transmitted Light

The Meiji MT8000 Series comprises upright metallurgical microscopes equipped with both reflected and transmitted illumination.

The combination of illumination methods provides greater flexibility when examining different specimen types. Each model features SWH10X widefield high-eyepoint eyepieces, Plan Epi objectives and a ceramic-coated flat-top X-Y stage.

Binocular and trinocular configurations are available, with a choice of LED or 6V 30W halogen illumination. Trinocular models include a 1X C-mount and phototube for connecting a compatible microscope camera.

Ergonomic viewing and camera accessories

• Ergonomic observation head with vertical inclination adjustable from 10° to 50°

• Photo/video attachment with sliding 80/20 beam splitter for connecting a video or digital camera when using the ergonomic head

Warranty

Meiji limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty covering qualifying defects in the instrument for the original purchaser. Electrical components are covered for 90 days. Coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s full warranty terms, exclusions and proof-of-purchase requirements.
