The PHOTONIC F5100 is a high-performance LED fibre optic light source designed specifically for demanding stereomicroscopy applications in industry and life science. It combines high light output with flexible control and a comprehensive range of PHOTONIC fibre optic accessories.

High-Performance LED Illumination for Microscopy
The PHOTONIC F5100 is a high-performance fibre optic LED light source developed for stereomicroscopy applications in industry and life science.
Its high light output, continuous flicker-free dimming and integrated strobe function provide flexible illumination for demanding microscopy applications. The F5100 is designed around the PHOTONIC fibre optic illumination system and can be configured with a wide range of compatible light guides and microscope illumination accessories.
The manufacturer specifies a light output of up to 1400 lumens at the light guide, with the light guide coupling optimised for an active diameter of 8 mm.
Flexible Illumination Control
Brightness can be continuously adjusted from 1–100% with flicker-free operation. The F5100 can also be controlled remotely via USB and an optional foot switch, allowing convenient operation when the light source is positioned away from the microscope workstation.
The integrated strobe light function provides additional illumination control for applications where pulsed or synchronised lighting is required.
PHOTONIC Fibre Optic System
The F5100 is designed to work with the PHOTONIC fibre optic illumination system. Available light guides include gooseneck, combination and flexible configurations, allowing the illumination to be positioned precisely around the microscope specimen.
Fibre optic ring lights and other microscope illumination accessories can also be used to provide uniform or application-specific illumination.
