Low-angle darkfield illumination for stereo microscopy, supplied with the extension tube selected for your working distance.
Reveal fine surface features
The SCHOTT KL darkfield ring light (P/N 157.406) directs light across the specimen at a shallow angle. Scratches, particles, edges and other surface details can scatter light towards the microscope and stand out against a darker background.
Choose the extension tube according to the working distance required for your inspection.
Choose a working distance
- 30–50 mm: ring light P/N 157.406 with extension tube P/N 157.569
- 50–80 mm: ring light P/N 157.406 with extension tube P/N 157.567
- 80–110 mm: ring light P/N 157.406 with extension tube P/N 157.562
Select the required working distance above. Each option includes the P/N 157.406 darkfield ring light and the matching extension tube.
Fibre-optic light source required
This passive fibre-optic ring light requires a compatible SCHOTT KL light source, supplied separately. Please check compatibility and available clearance around your microscope objective before ordering.
