Controlled Linear Illumination

SCHOTT KL fibre-optic line lights provide a narrow, concentrated line of illumination rather than a conventional circular or point light output.

Each line light incorporates adjustable focusing optics, allowing the illumination to be optimised for the specimen, component or inspection area.

Three line dimensions are available to suit different fields of view and inspection requirements.

50 × 1.2 mm Line Light – P/N 160.100

Compact line-light configuration providing an illumination line approximately 50 mm long × 1.2 mm wide.

Fibre length: 1000 mm.

100 × 0.6 mm Line Light – P/N 160.110

Longer, narrower illumination line measuring approximately 100 mm × 0.6 mm.

Fibre length: 1000 mm.

200 × 0.3 mm Line Light – P/N 160.120

Long, narrow line-light configuration providing an illumination line approximately 200 mm × 0.3 mm.

Fibre length: 1000 mm.

Each SCHOTT KL line light incorporates adjustable focusing optics.

This allows the illumination to be adjusted to suit the working distance and inspection area, helping optimise light intensity and distribution across the required line.

SCHOTT specifies that the line lights require an articulating arm and base or an equivalent mounting solution.

The mounting arrangement is not included with the line light unless specifically ordered.
