Flexible Illumination Positioning

SCHOTT KL mounting accessories provide stable and adjustable support for fibre-optic light guides, focusing lenses, ring lights and other illumination components.

Components can be selected individually to replace existing parts or combined to create a complete adjustable mounting arrangement.

Accessory Base – P/N 158.340

Stable accessory base incorporating 3 × M6 threaded mounting points.

Can be used as the foundation for compatible SCHOTT articulating arms, brackets and illumination accessories.

200 mm Articulating Arm – P/N 158.345

Adjustable 200 mm articulating arm with 2 × M6 threaded connections.

Provides flexible positioning of compatible holders, light guides and illumination accessories around the microscope or inspection area.

Focusing Lens Holder – P/N 158.341

Holder designed for the SCHOTT 158.210 focusing lens.

Incorporates a single M6 mounting thread for use with compatible SCHOTT support components.

Flexible Light Guide Holder – Ø5 mm – P/N 158.330

Holder for compatible flexible fibre-optic light guides with an approximate diameter of Ø5 mm.

Includes a single M6 mounting thread.

Ring Light / Ø15 mm Focusing Lens Bracket – P/N 157.430

Mounting bracket for compatible SCHOTT ring-light arrangements or focusing optics with an approximate Ø15 mm mounting diameter.

Equipped with an M6 mounting thread.

Flexible Light Guide Holder – Ø8 or Ø9 mm – P/N 158.335

Holder for larger compatible flexible fibre-optic light guides with diameters of approximately Ø8 mm or Ø9 mm.

Includes a single M6 mounting thread.

Accessory Base → Articulating Arm → Light Guide or Focusing Lens Holder

A typical adjustable configuration can use the 158.340 accessory base together with the 158.345 articulating arm and the appropriate holder for the light guide or focusing optic.

Components can also be incorporated into an existing microscope stand, machine-vision frame or bespoke inspection system where a suitable M6 mounting arrangement is available.
