Configure Your VisiLED Darkfield System

SCHOTT offers several mounting arrangements for the VisiLED darkfield illumination system, allowing the darkfield ring light to be combined with a brightfield ring light, mounted to a suitable microscope objective or supported independently.

Select the component required for your existing system. If you are configuring a complete new darkfield installation, Auckland Scientific can help identify the correct combination of parts.

Darkfield to Brightfield Ring Light Adapter – P/N 400.500

Adapter for combining a compatible VisiLED darkfield ring light with a VisiLED brightfield ring-light system.

Designed for configurations with working distances in the approximate 30–110 mm range.

Darkfield to Ø66 / Ø70 mm Objective Adapter – P/N 400.510

Adapter for mounting the compatible VisiLED darkfield ring light to a microscope objective or mounting interface with an outside diameter of approximately Ø66 or Ø70 mm.

Intended for configurations with a working distance of approximately 20–50 mm.

Darkfield Extension Tube – 30–50 mm – P/N 157.569

Ø66 mm extension tube for configuring compatible SCHOTT darkfield systems within an approximate 30–50 mm working-distance range.

Darkfield Extension Tube – 50–80 mm – P/N 157.567

Ø66 mm extension tube for configuring compatible SCHOTT darkfield systems within an approximate 50–80 mm working-distance range.

Darkfield Extension Tube – 80–110 mm – P/N 157.562

Darkfield Ring Light Mounting Bracket – 2 × M6 – P/N 400.512

Dedicated mounting bracket for the VisiLED S40-10D Darkfield Ring Light – P/N 400.300.

Incorporates 2 × M6 mounting threads for independent support of the darkfield illumination head in a suitable microscope or inspection arrangement.

The correct mounting arrangement depends on the microscope, objective diameter and required free working distance.

The VisiLED Slim uses the dedicated 400.810 Darkfield Focus Optics Ring. That accessory fits directly to the Slim Ring Light and does not require these extension-tube configurations.
