Upright Polarising Microscope for Teaching with Transmitted LED Light
Transmitted-Light Polarising Microscope
A robust transmitted-light polarising microscope designed for teaching, routine analysis and examination of birefringent materials.
It is supplied with strain-free infinity-corrected plan achromatic objectives, a centreable nosepiece, a 360° rotating stage, polariser, analyser, Bertrand lens and a selection of compensators. Built-in LED illumination provides bright, even illumination with low heat output and a long operating life.
The microscope is available with either a binocular or trinocular viewing head.
Available variants
| Variant | Viewing head | Light distribution |
|---|---|---|
| Binocular | 30° inclined Siedentopf binocular head | Visual observation |
| Trinocular | Trinocular head with photo port | 20% visual / 80% camera |
The trinocular configuration can be connected to a compatible microscope camera for image capture and documentation.
