Upright Polarising Microscope with Halogen illumination and Transmitted light / Reflected Light options
Advanced Polarising Microscope
A robust trinocular polarising microscope designed for advanced transmitted-light examination of birefringent specimens. It is available with either transmitted-light polarisation alone or a combined transmitted and reflected-light configuration for examining both covered and uncovered opaque specimens.
The microscope includes strain-free plan achromatic objectives, FN22 eyepieces, a centreable nosepiece, a large rotating stage, rotating analyser, Bertrand lens and a comprehensive set of compensators.
Available variants
| Variant | Illumination methods | Suitable specimens |
|---|---|---|
| Transmitted-light polarising | Transmitted halogen illumination | Transparent and covered specimens |
